Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil for dough
- 1/3 cup zaatar blend
- 1/3 cup olive oil for topping
Method
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add water and dough oil; knead 8 minutes until smooth. Cover and rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 450°F with a heavy baking sheet inside. Mix zaatar with topping oil to make a spreadable paste.
- Divide dough into six balls and roll each into a 6-inch round on parchment. Dimple lightly and spread with topping, leaving a narrow rim.
- Slide onto the hot tray and bake in batches 8–12 minutes until edges are golden. Serve warm.
