Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 100 g soft butter
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 100 g sesame seeds
- 50 g chopped pistachios
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp water
Method
- Cream butter and sugar, beat in the egg, then stir in flour and baking powder. Chill dough 30 minutes.
- Heat oven to 350°F. Mix sesame seeds with honey and water. Spread pistachios on a small plate.
- Roll 24 balls. Press one side into pistachios and the other into sesame mixture; flatten to about 1/4 inch. Place sesame-side up on a lined tray.
- Bake 14–18 minutes until the edges are golden. Cool on a rack once firm enough to move.
